Following a PhD in Materials Science, Henry worked for 10 years at TWI Ltd (a UK-based leading research center in materials and joining technology) where he led the Surface Engineering team. This included cold spray additive manufacturing efforts, where he oversaw the installation of the UK's first commercial cold spray additive manufacturing cell. He now leads the Application Engineering team at Plastometrex - a company pioneering the use of novel, non-destructive test methods. He and his team work closely with customers (many working within metal additive manufacturing) to support the implementation of profilometry-based indentation plastometry (PIP) and help them realise the maximum value from the technology.
