Senior Development Engineer
Boston Children's Hospital
Eric Dennis is a Senior Development Engineer in the Applied Engineering team of Immersive Design Systems at Boston Children’s Hospital. His team is dedicated to collaborating with the world's best pediatric surgeons and nurses to enhance clinical outcomes through simulation. Over the last four years he has worked on dozens of projects for the hospital, ranging from surgical simulators covering nearly every part of the body, to assistive medical devices improving clinician workflow. Eric brought to the hospital a decade of experience in several industries, working for an auto manufacturer, an intellectual property consulting firm, and for the Department of Defense. His education includes a BS in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University and a MSc in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University, where he also worked with the Cleveland VA on developing assistive adaptive technologies. This broad knowledge base helped establish him as a core member of a fantastic team of engineers doing innovative work at Boston Children’s Hospital.
