Mr. David Alfano is a senior mechanical engineer of the Fatigue and Fracture branch at DEVCOM Armaments Center WSEC Benét Laboratories. Mr. Alfano received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2009, a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University in 2018, and has worked at Benét Laboratories for over 17 years. Mr. Alfano conducts research and development efforts in the field of additive manufacturing and composites and serves as principal investigator on associated programs. Prior to that, he was lead engineer responsible for conducting dynamic ultra-high pressure fatigue and load testing to replicate field loading and other high pressure efforts.
