Rajeev is an entrepreneur and executive with over three decades of leadership in 3D printing, business strategy, and innovation. As CSO at Axtra3D, a global 3D printing OEM, he oversees strategic initiatives that drive growth and global expansion.
He also serves as Board President at Caracol and Ackuretta, both emerging AM organizations.
Beginning in the early ’90s with 3D Systems’ pioneering R&D team, Rajeev helped invent several 3D printing platforms and applications, including Invisalign, QuickCast, and SLA support generation, as well as early 3D printing use in hearing aids and dental prosthetics. His work earned multiple patents and “Outstanding Innovation of the Year” awards.
At 3D Systems, he later led global R&D, established the desktop 3D printer business, founded 3D Systems India, and executed over $750 million in M&A deals.
Beyond corporate roles, he co-founded the Inception Micro Angel Fund and Charlotte Angels angel funds and served on North Carolina Governor’s Entrepreneurship Council. He received the 2009 "40-Under-40" and the 2024 “Power 100 Innovators” award from the Charlotte Business Journal.
