Dr. Jason Jones is the pioneer and world’s leading authority in “hybrid manufacturing,” integrating Additive Manufacturing with CNC machining and inspection. As Co-founder and CEO of Hybrid Manufacturing Technologies, he leads activities empowering some of the world’s most prestigious brands to sustainably modernize their workforce and production. Leveraging patented AMBIT™ technology to print, finish, and inspect parts enables transforming existing CNCs and robots into ‘smart factories’ that are easier to operate and more efficient/cost effective.
Armed with a Ph.D. in 3D printing from the University of Warwick, Dr. Jones has led tens of millions of dollars in AM commercialization and development. He is the author of numerous publications and a distinguished inventor holding dozens of granted and pending patents.
Dr. Jones was a founding member of the ASTM F42 standards committee and steered the development of multiple ASTM/ISO standards. His industry service includes The Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT) board membership and past chair of SME’s Member Council and AM community - the largest professional 3D printing community worldwide.
