Sid Karapureddy

Sid Karapureddy is a PhD researcher in Engineering and Applied Science presenting research on AI-driven measurement and validation for Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM). His work focuses on computer vision–based weld bead geometry extraction, and experimental evaluation of measurement reliability and repeatability under varying capture conditions.
With five years of professional experience in applied analytics and systems implementation, Sid has worked on developing data-driven solutions that translate engineering requirements into structured, operational tools. His interests include measurement robustness, process validation, and practical integration of AI methods into manufacturing quality workflows.
