Michael Rivera is the Founder and Principal Level III Consultant of MR Aerospace Inspections & Consulting, a firm specializing in advanced nondestructive testing (NDT) for aerospace and additive manufacturing. With over 17 years of experience in radiographic inspection, Michael has led numerous digital transformation initiatives, including film-to-digital transitions, computed tomography (CT) implementations, and qualification programs for aerospace primes and their supply chains.
He has supported leading aerospace and defense companies through Nadcap audits, system qualifications, and technique development in accordance with NAS-410, ASTM E2737, ASTM E2698, and related standards. His expertise spans Digital Radiography (DR), Computed Radiography (CR), Computed Tomography (CT), and film methods, with a strong focus on integrating inspection into additive manufacturing workflows.
Michael is also an educator, having developed and delivered proprietary DR Level II courses and bilingual training programs that prepare technicians worldwide for certification. His work emphasizes not only compliance and quality assurance, but also how inspection data can accelerate process optimization and certification in next-generation aerospace manufacturing.
