This Medical 3D Printing at the Point-of-Care session will include two medical panels. The first panel entitled: “Implementing Quality Control Measures for Medical 3D Printing at the Point of Care,” will focus on the need for Point-of-Care facilities to implement quality control measures in their current production lines. We will discuss what measures current institutions have taken and if there is need to prepare for regulations that could arise in the future. The second panel entitled “What’s Next for 3D Printing at the Point-of-Care ,” will focus on the current trends in Medical 3D Printing and what applications could be performed at the Point-of-Care. In this panel we will discuss the potential pathways, safety concerns, and efficacy of producing medical devices at the Point-of-Care.
