Yash Parikh is a Process Engineering Consultant at EOS North America, where he advises, supports, and enables customers to implement and scale additive manufacturing (AM) technology. Yash has over a decade of experience spanning industry, academia, and government labs. At EOS, Yash implements qualification and validation protocols for metal and polymer applications. Yash collaborates with universities, industries, and government sponsors to secure grants, fostering research partnerships with EOS that drive progress in AM. His research interests revolve around real-time in-situ monitoring techniques to enable rapid qualification, integration of AI/ML with AM to reduce reliance on lengthy physical testing, and exploration of new materials development.
Yash holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, where his research focused on developing non-lattice-type property-graded bulk structures from a single metallic alloy using laser powder bed fusion. He also holds a Master’s (University First Rank) in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering with distinction from the University of Pune.
