Lizbeth Lopez Ojeda is a seasoned biomedical engineer with a robust background in manufacturing systems and pediatric nutrition. She earned her degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2012 and completed a Master of Science specializing in Manufacturing Systems in 2014. In 2024, she further expanded her expertise by becoming certified in pediatric nutrition.
Lizbeth's professional journey began as a design engineer at CTI Renato Archer, the leading additive manufacturing center in Latin America, where she worked on lower limb prosthetics. She then spent a year at a startup, designing upper limb exoskeletons for human rehabilitation. Following this, she served as the principal design engineer at a medical devices company for three years.
In 2019, Lizbeth joined Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she has held various roles over six years. She spent one year in quality, another year in engineering, three years in R&D program management, and currently serves as a global product manager. Lizbeth's diverse experience and specialized knowledge make her a valuable asset in the field of biomedical engineering and medical device development.
