Mr. Elijah Hudson is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Additive Manufacturing Research and Innovation Laboratory (AMRIL) of Tennessee Tech University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on the integration of advanced data-driven methods and nanotechnology to improve the performance and reliability of additively manufactured components.
Mr. Hudson has extensive expertise in Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM), machine learning, designed experiments, data analytics, and nanocomposite material development. His research bridges experimental and computational approaches to enhance the understanding of process–structure–property relationships in 3D-printed materials.
Throughout his academic career, Mr. Hudson has received multiple research and teaching awards, recognizing his excellence in innovation, mentorship, and technical communication. His work has contributed to several scholarly publications and ongoing interdisciplinary projects aimed at advancing sustainable and high-performance additive manufacturing technologies.
