MASc Student
Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing Lab, University of Waterloo
Alexandra Darroch earned her BASc in Chemical Engineering in 2024 before pursuing a MASc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo at the Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing Lab. With research focusing on metal additive manufacturing, her work aims to further the development of binder jetting for copper alloys through printing and sintering optimization, as well as investigating enhanced mechanisms of densification. At RAPID, this presenter hopes to highlight the importance of process optimization on the resulting dimensional fidelity of fine features for complex AM parts.
